How to Test Internet Connection Speed with Raspberry Pi

To begin, make sure to change the password in the script to match what you configured earlier. Then, create a python script called speedtest.py in the home directory of the pi user. Next, install the python library to interact with InfluxDB using the command `sudo apt-get install python3-influxdb`.

Once installed, assign all privileges to the 'internetspeed' database to the 'speedmonitor' user using the command `GRANT ALL ON 'internetspeed' to 'speedmonitor'`. Note down the password you select in this step as we'll need it again when configuring our database connection in Grafana.

Create a user called 'speedmonitor' to interact with the database and create a database called 'internetspeed' using the command `CREATE DATABASE internetspeed`.

Next, enable Grafana to start at boot time using the command `sudo systemctl enable grafana-server`, then start the Grafana server. Install Grafana by running the command `sudo apt-get install grafana`. Configure InfluxDB to start at boot time and start the InfluxDB server using the commands `sudo systemctl unmask influxdb` and `sudo systemctl start influxdb`.

Finally, update your packages using the entries in the sources list and install InfluxDB using the command `sudo apt-get update`, followed by `sudo apt-get install influxdb`. You're now ready to test your internet connection speed with Raspberry Pi.
